Selling my Sony ? (alpha) A200 10.2 MP Digital Camera – (Body Only). It comes with the original Sony Battery and a third party compact charger.

The Issue:

The camera was dropped on the carpet and the sensor might be shifting a little. The reason why I’m thinking this is because sometime the pictures come out offset a little from my initial frame. This does not happen all the time. The last picture was taken with this camera and as you can see the red car is centered as I focused on it and as I framed it. So I couldn’t reproduce the issue.
Also the battery does not latch in inside the battery compartment but the door locks in and keeps the battery in place. The right handle skin is also dislocated a little due to the drop (see pics).

The camera as you can see is in mint condition and the LCD is immaculate and takes amazing pictures. There are no dents or anything like that. Besides the frame shifting issue, All functions of the camera work properly such as the flash etc.

For the reasons above I’m selling this item for Repair. No returns will be accepted unless I miss-represented the item.

I purchesed this camera brand new last week from someone who got a few pieces from B&H and sold one to me.

I do have the receipt from B&H dated 01.06.2012. which will be included.

The camera is in mint condition in and out.

At most I took 100 photos. Never taken the camera outside.

It will come with the box and all that was included in the box originally.

This is a US model so it does have the GPS.

It was originally purchased from B&H as mentioned before.

Here is an excellent Sony Alpha A700 camera Body. There is no way of telling what the shutter count is… but it is low.  As you can see in the pictures the camera looks great condition.  The LCD is clean and clear, only super minor marks that you can see in the photo,  you don’t even notice them when the camera is on.  Someone will be very happy with this camera and it will serve you well for years.
